UPON YOUR ARRIVAL:

PRIOR TO CALLING OR RINGING OUR BELL

1. PLEASE CLOSE ALL ALL VENTS ON YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL AND SHUT OFF YOUR FAN, HEAT AND/OR AIR CONDITIONING
2. PLEASE OPEN ALL WINDOWS OF YOUR VEHICLE, UNLESS RAINING/SNOWING
3. PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH YOUR VEHICLE KEYS, TAGS, ORNAMENTS, ETC. WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT THE KEY & FOB NECESSARY TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE AND IT’S FUNCTION
4. PLEASE RING BELL AND RETURN TO YOUR VEHICLE ONCE YOUR PRESENCE IS ACKNOWLEDGED. OPTION 2 IS TO REMAIN WITH YOUR VEHICLE AND CALL US 978-683-6000

THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT MUST BE INCLUDED IN ALL VEHICLE SANITIZING PROCESSES:

1. WIPE THE ENTIRE LEFT FRONT SEAT RESTRAINT INCLUDING THE BUCKLE.

2. WIPE DOWN THE ENTIRE REAR VIEW MIRROR.

3. GREEN CHECK MARK MUST BE PLACED ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOW TO ENSURE IT IS WEATHERPROOF.

RENTAL VEHICLE PROTOCOL :

  • IN ADDITION TO INCOMING CLIENT VEHICLES, WE MUST ALSO PROTECT THE CLIENT BY SANITIZING THE RENTAL VEHICLE THEY WILL BE USING.
  • AS SOON AS THE RENTAL VEHICLE ARRIVES, PLEASE PERFORM THE EXACT SAME PROCESS WE ARE USING ON THE CLIENT VEHICLES.
  • AFTER RENTAL KEY SANITIZATION, THE RENTAL KEY MUST BE WRAPPED IN A CLEAN CLOTH AND PLACED ON THE FRONT COUNTER.
  • THE CLOTH WILL INDICATE THAT THE RENTAL KEY HAS BEEN SANITIZED.
  • UPON COMPLETION OF THE REPAIR AND RETURN OF THE RENTAL VEHICLE, THE RETURNING RENTAL MUST BE SANITIZED USING THE EXACT PROCESS WE ARE USING FOR DELIVERING CLIENT VEHICLES
  • UPON COMPLETION, PLEASE PLACE A GREEN CHECK ON THE INSIDE OF THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW.
  • NO ONE IS TO ENTER A RENTAL VEHICLE UNLESS THE GREEN CHECK IS VISIBLE.

PROTOCOL FOR HYGIENE IN OUR WORKPLACE

  • WASH YOUR HANDS 3 TIMES MORE OFTEN THAN NECESSARY.
  • YOU MUST WASH YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO USE OF THE COFFEE MAKER, MICROWAVE, TOASTER OVEN, AND REFRIGERATOR IF THE SINK IS UNAVAILABLE, YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL YOU CAN WASH YOUR HANDS.
  • CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF EVERY TIME YOU USE THE BATHROOM – EVERY PERSON, EVERY TIME, NO EXCUSES
  • THROW AWAY ALL LUNCH TRASH AND COMPLETELY WASH THE LUNCH TABLE WITH THE PEROXIDE SANITIZER WHEN YOU FINISH LUNCH. USE A CLEAN TOWEL AND WIPE THE FRONT OF MICROWAVE AND THE DOOR OF THE REFRIGERATOR. USE A SEPARATE CLEAN TOWEL TO WIPE DOWN THE COFFEE MACHINE.
  • DO NOT USE THE SAME CLOTH TO WIPE MULTIPLE SURFACES. (USE COMMON SENSE AND ONLY USE THE AMOUNT OF PAPER TOWEL NEEDED TO CLEAN PROPERLY)
  • PICK UP ANY TRASH YOU SEE AND PUT IT IN A TRASH BARREL. WE OFTEN USE PAPER TOWELS FOR WET-SANDING, PARTS WASHING, ETC. YOU MUST USE THE BARRELS TO AVOID THE POSSIBILITY OF SOMEONE PICKING UP A TOWEL THAT WAS USED FOR SANITIZING.
  • DO NOT LEAVE GLOVES AROUND. PUT THEM IN THE TRASH BARRELS.
  • AVOID USING EACH OTHERS TOOLS. IF YOU MUST BORROW TOOLS, WIPE THEM DOWN BEFORE YOU RETURN THEM.
  • DO NOT USE EACH OTHERS PHONES, CALCULATORS OR WORKSTATIONS UNLESS UNAVOIDABLE. IF YOU MUST USE ANOTHER WORKSTATION, PHONE, ETC, WIPE IT DOWN BEFORE AND AFTER USE.

PROTOCOL FOR DELIVERING CLIENTS’ VEHICLES

THE FOLLOWING SANITIZATION PROCESS IS TO BE COMPLETED ON EVERY VEHICLE, PRIOR TO EXITING THE FACILITY:

1. GATHER A NEW PAIR OF DISPOSABLE GLOVES, CLEAN CLOTHS FOR WIPING AND A BOTTLE OF SPRAY DISINFECTANT.
2. MOVE THE VEHICLE TO THE PICK UP LOCATION.
3. CHECK TO BE CERTAIN THAT ALL AIR VENTS ARE CLOSED AND THE HEAT & AC FAN CONTROLS ARE OFF. THIS SHOULD BE NORMAL STATUS UNLESS THE VEHICLE REQUIRED HEAT OR AC SERVICE. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE TECHNICIAN MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN TO SHUT DOWN THE SYSTEM AFTER SERVICE.

PLEASE REPORT TO LUNA OR JEFF IF YOU DISCOVER THAT A SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN SHUT DOWN. THIS IS NEW TO ALL OF US AND WE MUST MAKE CERTAIN THAT EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS HOW SERIOUS WE ARE ABOUT FOLLOWING PROTOCOL. WE MUST ALL WORK TOGETHER AND ADAPT TO THESE NEW PROCESSES. THEY ARE HERE TO STAY.

DO NOT SPRAY DISINFECTANT ON ANY SURFACE OF THE VEHICLE INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR.

4. SATURATE A SOFT CLEANING CLOTH WITH DISINFECTANT. BEGIN SANITIZING THE HIGH TOUCH AREAS OF THE DRIVER AREA STARTING WITH THE ENTIRE DRIVER SEAT AND THE SEAT CONTROLS. WITH A NEW CLOTH, MOVE TO THE STEERING WHEEL, DIRECTIONAL AND WIPER SWITCHES, SHIFTER, LAMP CONTROLS, AND ANY OTHER HIGH TOUCH AREAS. SANITIZE THE ENTIRE INTERIOR DOOR TRIM PANEL. SATURATE THE CLOTH LIBERALLY AND CHANGE THE CLOTH AS OFTEN AS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THOROUGH CLEANING. SANITIZE THE LEFT DOOR OUTER HANDLE AND THE WINDOW FRAME. REMOVE THE GREEN CHECKMARK FROM THE LEFT WINDOW. WEATHER PERMITTING, LOWER ALL WINDOWS OF THE VEHICLE. LASTLY, ATTACH A PIECE OF GREEN TAPE TO THE WINDSHIELD IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER SEAT (THIS WILL INDICATE THAT FINAL SANITIZATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.)
5. REMOVE THE KEY TAG AND SANITIZE THE KEY USING A FRESH CLOTH. BRING THE KEY TO THE OFFICE AND PLACE IT ON THE COUNTER.
6. DISCARD GLOVES, AND ALL USED CLOTHS IN BARREL #3. (BARREL # 3 MUST BE EMPTIED & SATURATED WITH SANITIZER EVERY DAY AT 12PM AND AGAIN AT 4PM) NO OTHER TRASH SHALL BE DISCARDED IN BARREL #3.

NO ONE IS TO ENTER A VEHICLE AFTER IT HAS BEEN SANITIZED. IF YOU MUST ENTER OR MOVE THE VEHICLE FOR ANY REASON, YOU MUST REPEAT THE ENTIRE SANITIZATION PROCESS AGAIN.
NOTHING IS TO BE OMITTED FROM THIS PROCEDURE.

NO CHANGES TO THIS PROCEDURE ARE ALLOWED UNLESS APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT.

To Our Valued Parts & Materials Suppliers :

To increase the safety of all, we are asking our suppliers to adapt to our new protocol.

1. Prior to delivery, please email invoices for all items being delivered to: THUDSON@NAAB.US – We will email parts return slips.
2. Upon delivery, delivery personnel are asked to unload in the designated areas PRIOR TO RINGING THE DELIVERY DOOR BELL.
3. Upon completion of unload, ring the bell or call 978-683-6000 Return to your delivery vehicle and wait. One of our Staff will do a parts count, and (if applicable) place any returns outside for pickup.
4. Our staff will email a delivery confirmation of parts received and the number of parts returned.

**The Massachusetts Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) is asking that Auto Repair Facilities and Auto Parts Suppliers be exempt in the event of a Statewide Lockdown. If this request is accepted, we must prove that we are prioritizing the control of the spread while we service vehicles for the public, municipalities and First Responders. Your assistance with this is critical for the safety to all involved.

PROTOCOL FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING IN OUR WORK SPACE

  • PLEASE REMAIN A MINIMUM OF 6 FEET FROM ANY CO WORKER, PARTS VENDOR, APPRAISER, OR CLIENT.
  • PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR DESIGNATED WORKSPACE. IF YOU MUST ENTER ANOTHER PERSONS WORKSPACE, BE MINDFUL OF DISTANCE AND DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING UNLESS NECESSARY.
  • DO NOT ENTER THE PARTS ROOM IF IT IS OCCUPIED BY MORE THAN 3 PEOPLE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
  • THE LUNCH TABLE IS NOW LIMITED TO 2 PEOPLE. PLEASE SIT AT OPPOSITE CORNERS TO MAINTAIN DISTANCE.
  • ONLY ONE PERSON AT A TIME SHOULD BE AT THE COFFEE MAKER, MICROWAVE, OR REFRIGERATOR.
  • USE THE BATHROOM TAG WHICH HANGS AT THE DOOR TO THE PARTS ROOM. THIS WILL ALLOW OTHERS TO KNOW IT IS OCCUPIED AND THEREFORE AVOID THEM NEEDLESSLY ENTERING THE PARTS ROOM. BEFORE RETURNING THE BATHROOM TAG, WIPE IT DOWN
  • IF YOU NEED PARTS, ASK TOM TO GET THEM (UNLESS HE IS TOO BUSY)

PROTOCOL FOR INCOMING CLIENTS VEHICLES

PRELIMINARY SANITIZATION: UPON ARRIVING, THE CLIENT IS ASKED TO SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE, CLOSE ALL VENTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, SHUT OFF THEIR FAN, AC, AND HEAT CONTROLS, AND TO OPEN ALL WINDOWS. THEY ARE THEN ASKED TO PLACE THEIR KEY FOB ON THE WINDSHIELD. AT THIS POINT, THE FOLLOWING STEPS SHOULD BE TAKEN IN THIS EXACT ORDER.

1. GATHER A NEW PAIR OF DISPOSABLE GLOVES, CLEAN CLOTHS FOR WIPING AND A BOTTLE OF SPRAY DISINFECTANT. PUT ON THE GLOVES WEAR YOUR GLOVES PRIOR TO STARTING THE SANITIZATION PROCESS.

2. DO NOT SPRAY DISINFECTANT DIRECTLY ON ANY SURFACE OF THE VEHICLE INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR.

3. SATURATE A SOFT CLEANING CLOTH WITH DISINFECTANT. BEGIN SANITIZING THE HIGH TOUCH AREAS OF THE DRIVER AREA STARTING WITH THE LEFT DOOR OUTER HANDLE. MOVE TO THE WINDOW FRAME NEXT, AND THEN THE INTERIOR DOOR TRIM PANEL. SATURATE YOUR CLOTH LIBERALLY AND CHANGE THE CLOTH AS OFTEN AS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THOROUGH CLEANING.

4. NEXT CLEAN THE ENTIRE DRIVER SEAT AND THE SEAT CONTROLS. WITH A NEW CLOTH, MOVE TO THE STEERING WHEEL, DIRECTIONAL AND WIPER SWITCHES, SHIFTER, LAMP CONTROLS, AND ANY OTHER HIGH TOUCH AREAS.

5. EXIT THE VEHICLE. WITH YOUR HEAD TURNED AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE, REACH IN AND TURN ON AUXILIARY POWER ON THE VEHICLE. **DO THIS AS A PRECAUTION IN CASE THE CLIENT DID NOT COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN THE FAN SYSTEM**

6. RAISE ALL WINDOWS. PLACE A GREEN CHECK MARK IN THE TOP CORNER OF THE LEFT FRONT DOOR WINDOW THIS WILL INDICATE THAT THE PRELIMINARY SANITIZATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

7. MOVE THE VEHICLE INTO A STALL FOR PRE-CHECK AND SCANNING.

8. TAG THE KEYS (IF A KEY IS NOT TAGGED, IT IS TO BE CONSIDERED UNCLEAN AND MUST BE SANITIZED.) ADDITIONALLY, THE KEY IS NOT TO BE TAGGED UNTIL THE PRELIMINARY SANITIZATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

9. NO ONE SHALL ENTER A VEHICLE IF A GREEN CHECK MARK IS NOT VISIBLE ON THE LEFT FRONT WINDOW.

10. NO ONE IS TO TOUCH A KEY THAT HAS NOT BEEN TAGGED.

  • PRIMARY SANITIZATION IS TO BE COMPLETED AFTER CHECK IN AND PRE-SCANS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
  • PROTOCOL FOR PRIMARY SANITIZATION TO FOLLOW IN AN ADDITIONAL MEMO.
  • NO VEHICLE SHALL BE MOVED TO DISASSEMBLY UNTIL PRIMARY SANITIZATION IS COMPLETED
  • DISCARD GLOVES, AND ALL USED CLOTHS IN BARREL #3. (BARREL # 3 MUST BE EMPTIED & SATURATED WITH SANITIZER EVERY DAY AT 12PM AND AGAIN AT 4PM) NO OTHER TRASH SHALL BE DISCARDED IN BARREL #3.
